How do I make the Fab Fête's cheese soufflé?
The Fab Fête cheese soufflés make baking a soufflé a cinch. Our soufflés come pre-made and ready-to-bake when they ship to your door. There isn't a complicated soufflé recipe to follow or soufflé that won't puff!
Are the cheese soufflés gluten-free?
Our soufflé mixtures are gluten free, however, they are produced in a facility that handles soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish or wheat.
How many servings are in each cheese soufflé?
The soufflés are 32 ounces each, and we recommend serving 8 as a 4-ounce side dish, or 12-16 as an hors d’oeuvres or snack.
How long can the cheese soufflés be kept frozen?
We recommend enjoying your soufflé within 3 months of purchase. We cannot guarantee the quality of items held longer than 3 months in the freezer.
I lost the instructions, how do I make the cheese soufflé?
If frozen, thaw in refrigerator until soft. Refrigerate soufflé until ready to bake.
+ Preheat oven to 325°F
+ Place soufflé mixture in a greased soufflé dish on a baking sheet
+ Cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes, until golden brown on top
+ Remove from oven and serve immediately
Help! I forgot to thaw my re-fill bags overnight. How do I thaw them quickly?
Been there, done that! The quickest way to thaw your re-fill bag is to submerge the bag in a bowl of cold water. Change out the water every 45 minutes, until the soufflé is fully thawed. This takes about 3-4 hours.
What do I serve with a cheese soufflé?
All Fab Fête soufflés may served as an hors d'oeuvre on their own, alongside other appetizers, or as a side dish to an entrée. We usually serve the soufflés straight out of the oven with lahvosh (favorite brand is Valley Lahvosh Baking Company); Lesley Stowe Raincoast Crisps -salty date and almond flavor; sliced baguette or ciabatta bread from your local bakery or grocer; other simple crackers, taralli rounds, and crisps; sliced Granny Smith apples, seedless grapes and / or whole strawberries.
How do I serve a cheese soufflé?
Our soufflés come pre-made either in a soufflé dish or as refills in freezer bags. Our the Fab Fête soufflé dish is the perfect serving vessel for the soufflé that guarantees the perfect puff. Serve your soufflé immediately!
Can you reheat cheese soufflé?
While our soufflés are best served fresh out the oven, the soufflé can be reheated to enjoy the next day for breakfast or a snack! Reheat in the oven at 325°F for 15-20 minutes or in the microwave on HIGH for 1 minute then in 30 second increments until it reaches desired temperature. Please note, that the soufflé may not puff up when reheating.
Can you prepare a cheese soufflé in advance?
Absolutely! Our cheese soufflés come already pre-mixed either in a soufflé dish or re-fill bags. Simply thaw your soufflé overnight for your next Fab Fête.
What allergens can be found in the cheese soufflés?
Our soufflés are gluten-free. Please be aware that our food may contain or are produced in a facility with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish or wheat.
What type of soufflé dish do I need?
Our Fab Fête soufflés are available pre-made inside our custom soufflé dish. Our 1-quart soufflé dish is made of ceramic and has a maximum temperature of 410°F. Our refills are suitable for 1-quart soufflé dishes or can be split into smaller soufflé dishes (for example eight 4-ounce dishes).
Do I need to purchase a soufflé dish every time?
Not at all! If you already have a soufflé dish, we encourage you to purchase the re-fill packs available for select flavors. Just thaw the soufflé mix, cut a corner on the bottom of the bag and pipe the mixture into your dish! Easy peasy!
Where do I buy a cheese soufflé?
The Fab Fête offers cheese soufflé for sale online on our website thefafete.com. Online soufflé orders are available for local pick-up (Houston, TX) or for delivery within the continental U.S.
How far ahead should I place my order?
Orders can be placed up to 60 days prior your desired ship date. When placing your order, select "Ship" underneath Delivery Method and select the date you would like your product to arrive by. Please note that we only ship Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday to ensure your product arrives before the weekend. "Last minute" orders can be placed and shipped within 24 hours.
How can I check the status of my order?
To check the status of your order, simply login to your Fab Fête account and click on your order. You may also receive updates concerning your order via email.
How can I change or cancel my order?
If you would like to make a change or cancel your order, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note, we cannot make changes or cancelations to orders within 48 hours of your selected ship date.
Can I purchase a cheese soufflé as a gift?
Absolutely! Our soufflés make excellent gifts for any occasion! Please note that due to the perishable nature of our product, we ask that you check with the recipient that they will be available on the delivery date to receive it.
How is my order packed?
All orders are carefully packaged in Houston, TX. Because our soufflés are perishable, we have developed top of the line packaging with insulated padding and frozen gel packs to ensure your product arrives cold and protected.
Is the cheese soufflé shipped frozen?
Yes, all of our soufflés are shipped frozen. The ice packs may thaw prior to arrival at your door. This is normal, as long as the product is cool to the touch simply store in the refrigerator for immediate use or place in freezer to use in the future.
Can I prepare my cheese soufflé in the microwave?
Our soufflé is designed to go from the refrigerator straight into the oven. Cooking instructions are included with all items and are also available to view in the product description on our website.
What is the standard shipping time?
Due to the perishable nature of our product, all soufflé orders are shipped to arrive within 2 business days. Please allow for up to 2 business days of order processing. The Fab Fête ships orders on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays to ensure your product arrives before the weekend. "Last minute" orders can be placed and shipped within 24 hours.
Can I place an order now and have it delivered at a later date?
